Tokico struts and shocks on a lowered Fit

Hey everyone, never posted a thread and could use some advise.
I'm putting Tokico struts and shocks with Progress Technology lowering springs on a 2008 Fit Sport. Progress instructs to cut the bumpstops on the struts in half but does not mention anything about the bumpstops on the rear shocks.
Should I assume that they too need to be cut in half also? I also have the Progress Technology rear sway bar installed.

Thanks for any input.:wavey:

I would personally go with what the instructions say and cut what they tell you to cut. The rears are easy enough to remove that if you find that they're bottoming out you can remove and cut them easily enough. On another note. Are those tokico shocks the blue ones or the ats which are adjustable. If they're the blues, you're probably better off using your stock struts. A couple of people on this forum have tried the blues and said the valving is no good.

tokico shocks

Thanks for the input. Unfortunately I have to go with the Tokico struts and shocks. I had already purchased them. They are the blue. I figure if I have any valving problem I can contact Tokico as they have a lifetime warranty.

There's no problem with your new shocks. Just softer valving than the stock ones which isn't ideal especially with your new stiffer springs. I'm sure they'll work fine though.
