Looks like J's Racing shift knob but not made out of Titanium. Tagged for interest.

if its weighted like the Skunk2 knobs. Having it weighed, makes it much easier to shift, as the shifter just rolls into the gears.

having it weighed... i still dont understand what you mean. Do you mean if theres weight to it? Its about the same weight as the Skunk2 knob, its machined from a block of stainless steel

SD_MR_FIT 04-16-2008 08:43 PM

yeah weighted shift knobs cost more. because it basically helps with the shifting.

but since your not sure, ill do some research.

SD_MR_FIT 04-16-2008 08:45 PM

heaviest shift knob on the market it says. hmmm thats bad ass. ill see if i can come up with the money to scoop this up.

"weighted" is just a marketing ploy. A machined block of metal is a machined block of metal. The non weighted are usually 2 pieces which is hollow inside. The circuit hero knob is solid except for the threaded hole for the shifter lever

doctordoom 04-17-2008 02:42 AM

he did post the weight of the knob right? so you can just look at the weight.

SD_MR_FIT 04-17-2008 03:13 AM

that wasnt there at first. im pretty sure that was an edit.
