Got my royal gold J.SPL's put on today!!!

Well, my 16x7" Royal Gold Rota JSPL's were put on today. I got General Exclaim UHP tires.

First things first, if you guys want performance at a low price -- General Exclaim is where its at. These things grip the road like $100 a piece G-Sports, but only ran $60/tire on tirerack.com.

Secondly, once I wax the car (tomorrow) pictures will be up. Gold and white = SEXY!

White + Gold w/ polished lip = niceeeeeeeeeeeee!

What offset? I remember someone else running the same rims (in 15in) and he needed a spacer to clear the front calipers.

I know someone local selling some for cheap. I was going to buy them.
Found some GSR blades though. :D

D_PRIME Jul 19, 2007 09:38 PM

ditto on the pics.

pocketrocket Jul 19, 2007 09:41 PM

pics will come tomorrow! haha

and they are +37. I am going to have to get a spacer because it doesn't fit perfectly, but it clears the calipers fine. it will be fine for a week or so until I can get the spacer. it rides great though, no rubbing, no vibrations.

D_PRIME Jul 20, 2007 07:17 AM

And that is mine and my roommates dc2 integra.

Spoon springs will be coming soon. I was surprised how good they looked without lowering though. I had a full car and my 80 pound subwoofer box in the back, and had some slight rubbing in corners and over bumps. Those subs are about to go though, and I think a stiffer spring will help out.

unFIToneRock Thrill in the house! lol Can't wait to see the pics!
Nice to see another South Carolina Fit guy! :D

supposedly the higher offset the better for the Fit. so, +40 should be "better" than +37, but +37 works just fine for me. I think anything over +32 should be fine. Mine fit no problem and doesn't stick out at all.

SPON FIT Jul 20, 2007 08:12 PM

looks good.now hurry up and lower it.jk :D

pocketrocket Jul 20, 2007 08:35 PM

sure! wanna spot me $300?;)

JDMish Jul 20, 2007 08:36 PM

Those wheels look great, now a simple 1" drop and your set :)

D_PRIME Jul 20, 2007 10:16 PM

Thanks for the pics and for the help with the offset ? I had. I was looking at Rota Slipstream's in white....

pocketrocket Jul 20, 2007 11:44 PM

no problem.. I know the slipstreams definitely fit great. there are a few others on the forum with them. white is a good choice!

and yes, 1" drop will definitely set it off.. next week i'll be ordering the either tanabe gf's or spoon progressives.

Raaaaaaaaaay. Jul 21, 2007 12:34 AM

I like it! Lower offset is better IMO. So what if it rubs.
My friends taking a risk (cause of me) and is going to be running 18x9 +12 and 18x10 +33 on his RSX-S. :D
OMG I cant wait!!!

redrumm Jul 21, 2007 01:28 PM
