Sport Tires on Aftermarket Rims (possible?)

Hello Everyone!

I'm new to the forum and I needed some clarification on this subject. I just recently purchased Rota GT3's (15 x 7 +40) and I have been waiting to get a new set of tires so that I can mount them. Due to the fact that I'm impatient I started to rationalize putting the stock sport tires on my GT3's. From looking at both the wheels, it looks possible:

-Sport rims are 15 x 6 and I'm going to 15 x 7.
-Offset on stock is +55 and the GT3's are +40.
-No plans to auto-x (This is my DD and kid hauler!)
-Tires (and car) are practically brand new (6000mi)

I will be also lowered on Tanabe GF210's. (Not so good for the kids but oh well.)

Does this looks like it will be ok or am I missing anything? Any issues with the +15 difference in offset?

I tried searching and I came up with this but I wasn't convinced. If you have any other links please pm me and let me know since I'm sure this has been covered before...I'm just not using the right keywords.

Thanks!

Yup, you can mount the stock ones on those wheels without any problems.
