Who's done 215/45/17 stock susp w/pic please
I've been searching but I would like more info please. Has anyone shoved 215/45/17 on the fit with stock suspension and does it rub? If so how bad? and has anyone tried this with any lowered suspension setup? Will a 215/45/17 fit on the fit? I have rims from my 92 honda accord and I want to slap them on, but don't want to do the labor if I know its not going to rig right. Will it rig? Thanks and hope to hear some feed back?
If they don't rig, they are for sale rims and tires for $400 bucks local pick up in Los Angeles. http://i138.photobucket.com/albums/q254/weenee20/6.jpg |
they would most likely rub like crazy. On a side note, those accords are 4x114.3 while the Fit is 4x100 so the bolt pattern wouldnt fit anyway.

Thank You So much for the quick Reply:wavey:
So I guess the rims with tires are for sale 17" ZEN RACING WHEELS for $400, located in the Southbay of Los Angeles, pm me if you are interested. |
I have 215/17/45s on my fit and they were rubbing in the rear on a hard turn and when i was going over little bumps with people in the rear. Sometimes without people in the rear I would rub. And Chris is right about the lug size on the accord. I took my wheels from my prelude which had the same lug size but I got wheels with 2 lug sizes.

215/45-17 is about 24.7" tire diameter.
205/45-17 is 24.3" tire diameter and I tried it on my fit with 17x7 rims and +42mm offset and it fit ok front and rear with one person in the car on normal streets. No obvious rubbing. Best is 205/40-17 with 17x7 wheel about +42 to 45mm offset. |
