Black locking Lugs for stockies?

Any one got any suggestions on placing to look for black locking lugs for oem wheels or does any one know the thread of the stock lugs? If I remember correctly they are ball heads right?

Anyone?

I have been looking around gorilla has some black locking lugs but I think they are too long for oem sport wheels.

checked aj racing and t1r they are coming out with some black locking lugs but they are racing lugs and they again look too long to fit on oem sport wheels.

paint your stock lug nuts. and, what do you mean too long? i have gorilla lugs on my car with my aftermarket wheels. fit fine.

I got the oem lugs was looking to get some locking ones but as seeing I want to paint my oem wheels black I would like to get some black locking lugs so A. they match the color and B. they don't say goodbye to me before I would like them to.

I thought mabey they looked too long because the oem lugs are really short and the gorilla lugs looked pretty long didn't know if it makes a difference how tall or long the lugs are for your oem wheels or anything .....

Threads are 12x1.5 metric but seat is Honda 'ball' specific to Honda wheels. If you get aftermarket wheels get lugnuts to match. Try Mr Lugnut for black lugnuts. If no then have your lug nuts anodized black at local machine shop.
PS do NOT mismatch lugnuts ! Honda on usual aftermarket or vice versa.
And aftermarket wheels with 42 mm offset stock hgt or 45 mm dropped hgt. Max 205 width 40 section at 17" or 45 section at 16".
good luck

So in other words your saying that I need to go to honda to get some locking lugs for the honda oem fit wheels?

No. I'd still go to Mr Lugnut.com but be sure they know you want black lugnuts for stock Honda wheels with the spherical 'cone' They may, or may not have what you want and that may also be true of Am Honda.
Of course you could paint your existing lugnut caps with heat resistant paint ( typ brake caliper type or even local hardware stores high temp paint). Be sure to rough up the surface first and use good degreaser.

i was thinking about doing this too but how would you do it? because wouldnt you just scratch off the paint putting them on? it would be cheap and cool to do but how would you do it so the paint wouldnt get screwed up when you put them on. and what about the stock locking lub nut? would the adapter fit in there right if you painted it?

No, locjing lugnuts are available many places, including Mr Lugnut.com

Just take one lugnut off and bring it into the shop where you are going to buy the new one. Have them match the shape on the wheel side and you are good to go. Don't let them talk you into using ones that are not the same shape on the wheel side.
