I have the 16's 44 offset ssr type -c's
The offset is fine.
Issues? Yes sort of.
I had them on my GD3 in 15", they bend easy, I bent 2.
The big problem with that is Tire Rack is about sold out (they speak very poorly of SSR by the way, at least 3 different sales guys did, so if you bend one a replacement will cost you about $480 (as TR is completely dropping SSR) and you will have to paint it as they arent available in black.
I bought 2 spares and if I bend 2 I will sell the good 4 on ebay cuz if I bent another a set of 3 aint worth much.
They are light, thats good but I watch for pot holes and slow way down on RR tracks + I used my TPMS sensors (they fit fine) so if I got a tire going flat I can hopefully catch it before I damage a rim.
That is the honest good and bad about SSR
(several other forums have threads on the Type-C bending easy also)

Still, I would expect more from a rim with that kind of price tag.
Had 2 sets(8 wheels total) of 16" SSR's from TireRack for my Fit, bent 2 of them. Really soft wheel that doesnt stand up to the abuse of daily driving in the NYC area.
If I could do it again I would go with Enkei RPF-1's in 15" for their extreme light weight.
Currently I'm running with TRMotorsports offering for the Fit and am very happy with the looks of it so far.

well i guess i can scratch ssr's off the list. they look so good too.
there is a vbp fit here in my area that runs 15's, they look awesome, and i usually dont have to worry about bending anything given that i drive mostly highway.
but still
right now i'm leaning more towards oem wheels anyway.
