i used to own a set back when i first bought my 2000 tacoma. Being a truck, i never pushed them, but they were great in the rain and lasted a pretty long time. i eventually wore them down and bought allterrains. how much are they?

As with most Uniroyals, the Tiger Paw series kind of an "economy" tire. I haven't seen a lot of issues with the Tiger Paw A/S, but I was not impressed with the sidewall strength. I do however think the Tiger Paw Tourings are about the best bang-for-buck tire out there for small cars if you're worried primarily about cost and tire-wear mileage.

Keep in mind Uniroyal is the third tier in the Michelin line of tires (Michelin>BF Good>Uniroyal), and most of their car tires come from Indonesia.
