Will 14's work on a GE8?

Please tell me they will.... PLEASSSEEEE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD TELL ME.

I may be looking at saving up this winter for some Hayashi racing wheels. :D

why would you go that small? i think 15's are the smallest you should go on a ge. I suppose it would probably work tho pending caliper clearance...just get all of the specs and do the math, theres plenty of utilities on the web to tell you if everything will clear or not.

If the brakes from the GD are the same as the GE I don't see why they wouldn't fit.

I think they'd look ridiculously small though. They look OK on GDs but it's a much smaller car. You'd have to put the framerails on the ground or you'd have 3" of fendergap moderately lowered (or get 70 series tires lol).

Just get 15" Hayashis? I'm guessing your getting a good deal on some used ones from someone you know though.

14s should fit. But I would be concerned about how tight it will be.

Not really...

I'm going to be saving a bunch of cash this winter for a new summer project and I was considering getting a set of Hayashi Sakura's or CR's. Either way Im looking at $700 to $1100 per rim before shipping to Canada and duty/tax/customs....
It's a TON of cash but why not lol.

Basically I want the baddest ass rims on my fit. I know I cant afford to make it "fast" so it better look good.

I plan on dropping the car hard this summer too. My last car a mk3 vw was daily driven with 1.5 inches of clearance and I only scrapped the oil pan twice. Needed moar low but it blew up before I could try.

If you can afford to spend 4k on wheels you can afford to make it "fast".

:p

To the OP of this picture, sorry for stealing it but it's for a good cause.

14" on a GE. Functional? Yes. Will it look JDM tight? Well to be honest, I think there'd be fender gap even if it was sitting on bags in a parking lot LOL

If you're up to the challenge to make it look good i'd love to see you succeed though. I love the classic JDM wheels, many of which can be easily found in 14" used for fairly cheap, but i've always thought it'd look silly on a GE. I'd like to be proven wrong.

Good luck!

yeah I'm going to have to second that, if you can afford 4k and up on wheels and tires then you can absolutely afford engine tuning, sc's turbo's, tunes, built block's etc. For that money if you really wanted an L15a7 to put out upwards of 250whp, you can, you just need to know what your doing and do your homework. just talk to dsm if your really interested in doing that because honestly your cars going to look pretty ridiculous sitting on 14's still putting out a measly 117 at the crank...just my .02

I've accepted this cars slowness, its in the corners that it excel's in its class. I believe it was motor trend that just did an issue comparing almost all of the b segment class cars out right now and the Fit won overall and hands down for "Joy of driving."

I understand what 4k can do to an engine very well.

I also understand im only 20 and need to get to work everyday and to make my pilgrimage to Formula drift a slight 1300km's away. :D
And that the Fit is a cornering beast with its weight and short gears.

Anyways I may try some 14's if a friend has them and we can see how small the tire looks in the wheel well. Add coils and profit.

I have some 16 konigs on it now but it looks sorta silly with stock suspension.

Can't wait to get back into the low game.

Needs moar low.
