GD3 - Help me pick the correct offset for Enkei RFP1 16x7

Hi fellow Fit Freaks,

I've been reading through a bunch of posts and haven't seen a compelling enough answer so I created this thread.

I have a GD3 on stock springs and want to replace my worn out stock rims/tires with Enkei RFP1 16x7.

I'm wanting to have a nice flush look without rubbing. I would like to know first hand from owners what spings/offset/tires you're running? This is a DD and I'm not looking for that "hella flush" slammed look ;)

Optimal fitment on a GD (IMO) is around a 7j +35-38 up front and a 7j +25-28 in back

it depends on tires/drop. Stock height it doesn't matter much. If you are lowered on springs you will rub on hard turns no matter what. The RPF1 in 16x7 4x100 only comes in +35 or +43. Go with the +43 205/45/16 tires. and you should be good stock or lowered.

He'd be good stock/lowered on both offsets.

the +35 will rub significantly unless he starts rolling fenders stretching tires or adding camber. I've already run the offset. it will rub lowered on springs and on hard turns with coilovers.

My 7j +37 RARELY rubbed on Tein Springs.

I think i'm leaning towards the +43 205/45/16 tires unless someone can show me some good picture comparisons. I'm fine with throwing some springs on for my DD if that will help get me that nice clean look i'm going for.

Thanks for all your help!
