Details on the wheels?

Center cap decal says "MB topline racing"
Back of the center cap and stamped on the rim is "ATF"

They are definitely an older wheel, I'm thinking 90s
I cant find any info on the wheel or manufacturer though.

I am thinking of painting them either black, or silver.
I would like to get them polished.

you shouldn't drive on that OEM wheel. you're down to the wires.

Yeah that is only after putting the springs on the front and not getting an alignment. They got eaten by the road.
New tires going on tomorrow.

have you gotten an alignment yet?

it's odd because I didnt have any tire wear until I messed with my camber

edit: putting negative camber made my toe go all out of whack.

also I tried to run 17x7.5 + 35 wheels and actually rubbed the rim on the body of the car in the back. beware!

Skunk2 coilovers. modded rear perches and pretty much all the way down in front. The springs are too soft, otherwise I'd be lower

REALLY like 17's on a slammed fit... I always wanted to rock a set of the older Advan RG II's :rotfl: when I found out what they cost though lol

Sol, still looking sexy! Why not get stiffer springs? If you know the ID and length, they should be similar to other coil over springs, at least in the front, and people on the AutoX forums I'm on go through those things like clean underwear lol

I don't want to be rocking skunk2 coilovers anymore but there isn't a "good" setup out there. I had my heart set on custom koni/gc setup, but I heard that a shock =/= a strut because the shaft diameter isn't strong enough. back to the drawing board.

All very high quality setups. You just have an obsession with Koni/GC.

I guess I don't understand you here.... They may not be the ULTIMATE option, but there are some excellent "performance" struts and shocks for the GD3. I have the Tokico HTS and they are fantastic. Currently they are on sale directly from the manufacturer. I also know that Ground Control (of which I am a HUGE fan) does have a pre-existing setup for the GD3 as I contacted them about it a while ago. At that time it was not listed on the site, I don't know if that has changed. And again, if your only complaint with the S2 Pro C's is the spring rates, those can be easily swapped... Just my .02
