Fitment question: 15x6.5 +38, 195/55/15, GF210. Rub?

I just got done looking through the shoe thread and didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I just picked up an 07 Fit Sport for my wife. The plan is to go down with Tanabe GF210 springs and add some new wheels. Wheel specs are 15x6.5 +38. Tires are 195/55/15. Will this set-up rub?

The only offset that appears to work for most people to be rub free is at least a 45.

That being said, for a 38 15x6.5 it's only likely to rub in the rear when loaded and MAYBE in the front under hard cornering/bumps. I plugged the numbers into this calculator to compare to the OEM sport wheels Custom rims, wheel tire packages for your ride - RIMSnTIRES.com
and you will stick out 0.6inch or 15mm more toward the fender.

I run a 15x7.5 32 offset with 195 50 15 for AutoX and I am on Swift springs. I have a ton of camber (-3.0 up front) and have pulled my fenders as well as the "fender liner flip trick." I also rolled my rear fenders to make that clear. Although, with that much modification I have been able to run a 15x8 25 offset with 225 45 15 tires

What are the stock wheel specs for comparison?

Seems your scenario isn't quite apples to apples with what I'm proposing either though. Your set-up puts the lip of the wheel 1.24 inches closer to the fender lip than what I'm looking at just based on the numbers.

Yes, my setup is VERY aggressive and significantly wider.

I was only listing it as an example of what is possible.

Before I made any camber or fender modifications, I was able to run a 205 50 15 tire on a 15x6.5 40 Rota with zero rubbing issues. That's at least closer to what your asking I guess.

The Rotas was with the Swift springs? 1.4/0.8, right?

All of my setups are on the Swifts yes.

Since the GF210 is listed at 1.5/0.9 it should be very close

Any pics of that set-up? Any pics of the set-up I'm proposing? Just trying to get an idea of what the stance will look like too.

OP, if you get the springs/wheels in your OP just get a 195/50/15.

You should never, ever rub with that setup. If anything you can always just tuck the front fender liners, but with that sizing you should be fine even without that.

Wont adjust the speedo by much, maybe 3% and should provide slightly better handling (at least I notice quicker turn in on that size.)
