Exclamation P185/65R14 GOODYEAR NORDIC tires on '99 Honda Civic steel wheels

I picked up a set of 4 Goodyear Nordic winter tires that are the old design tread on steel rims from a '99 Civic and put them on my 2007 Fit Sport. I just had a chance to try them out today in about 2-3" of snow on the roads this morning. They are pretty nice! The Fit felt solid and there was plenty of traction on the hills. Had driven it home in 2 snow storms with the stock alum. wheels and 3 season tires and it was a nightmare in the snow - slipping and fishtailing and it felt like it was floating. Amazing how much a difference a good set of tires can make. The civic wheels fit over the front disc brake calipers but there is not a whole lot of extra space there. Eyeballing it thru the holes in the rim it looks to be about 1/8" of clearance, maybe 1/4". A little uncomfortable with that space but it seems to be fine.
