16" SSR's + 3" deep pothole + 40mph =
 Ugh...kill me now.
I hit a massive pothole in my neighborhood(stupid me) which successfully dented the inside lip of at least 1 of my beautiful wheels. At around 60mph I'm feeling vibrations through the steering wheel. https://www.fitfreak.net/gallery/dis....php?pos=-1379 I went and had my front wheels re-balanced this morning but the vibration is still there. As I just recently sold off my OEM Wheels and Tires (go figure) I had to order a new set of 15" wheels and tires from TireRack. But what the hell to do with the old SSR wheels and less than 1 month old BFGoodrich G-force Sports? The wheels seem to be holding the air pressure so that's a plus. Local guys - look for a great deal in the "want to sell" section very shortly...:o |
Move the bent rim to the back, you won't feel it as much or maybe at all.
|
so when you had them re-balanced did they do a rim runout? they should have bene able to tell you what and where as well as point you to a repair facility.
|
A wheel reapir shop might be able to help you and get it straightened out again. check your area for a company with that capability.

Northern Blvd in Flushing Queens or around Shea Stadium :D
Honestly, any rim repair shop in that area will repair it for $50 or less. What they will do is heat up the rim and then bang out the dent. |
never sell your OEM rims just in case crap like this happens:D
