Wow, no way I'd want lights that blue... it almost looks like the HID pic was taken with the incorrect white balance or had the white balance altered. That color temp is going to really skew color rendition.

This is also a good example of glare people talk about with retrofit/conversion kits... compare the amount of light on the top half of the wall, the ceiling, and the top of the columns on the left in the distance in both pictures. Theres a lot more light where it doesn't need to be with the HID kit.

These kits may be fine/great quality but those pictures don't reflect the product in the best light, so to speak.

holy glare!

PizzaFit 09-08-2007 06:51 AM

Are those prices in USD or CDN?

Spreee 09-09-2007 07:33 PM

psh, you get cheaper prices and AWESOME warranty and customer services from custom HID, LED, CCFL specialists - retrosolutions. They dont use any that cheap china crap. Phillips-based products too.

Thanks Spreee, I checked your site and noticed you sell xentec and techone brand HID's. THEY ARE BOTH CHINA MADE KITS !!!! I know the manufactures !!

Our XLS kits are made in Japan and and our group buy prices are very low for the quality of our kits.

The pictures may not do justice but I assure you these kits are the best for the price.

The prices are in USD but the we are at par with CDN so it doesn't matter !!

Thanks
Chris

Which color temp is shown in that example photo?

fits_all 09-28-2007 09:56 PM

Everybody that has seen, admired, or asked about my HID kit..these are the guys. I got 10000k temperature in my bulbs, and it doesnt seems that crazy, neither blue-ish or with that glare. The bi-xenon bulb works pretty cool.
I aint connected with them, so its not that im free-advertizing, but I find it kind of unfair for them to be judged in a wrong way since i really like the outcome of mine. Just wanted to let yall know. :)

kapsco 10-03-2007 11:25 AM

thanks for your comments. These are just pictures and may not depict the actual outcome of the color. You can visit Xenon Light Source - Wholesale & Distribution of Quality HID Lights Worlwide and you can see other cars with the kit installed.

If there is interest in a group buy let me know how many people so I can work with the moderators to properly set this up.

thanks !

Thanks for the free traffic across our site!

Please provide proof that your kits are manufactured in Japan, becuase we both know that is not the case!

This is why people have a hard to trusting vendors for HID materials, becuase most of resort to gimmicks to sell a product!
If the product is that great why not offer better than a one year warranty like we do on our new DIGITAL line, or at least try to offer competitve pricing?

ascGD3 10-17-2007 04:38 PM

that is wayyyy better

sLiVeRwOrM 10-18-2007 10:24 AM
