Note the difference in the scoop pictured:

The part on the left is in 2x2 twill carbon and the two on the right are 1x1 plain weave. There are a few other options like 4x4, satin and of course carbon/kevlar (like the red/black and blue/black parts pictured above). The 2x2 and 4x4 have a definite diagonal pattern in the weave.
I hope this helps.

i think it looks like the one on the left has the 1x1 weave and the two on the right have the 2x2. im probably mistaken though.

One on left is 2x2. You can see that each 'thread' goes over two and under two. On the plain weave / 1x1 each thread goes over one and under one. This make the weave pattern look tighter or smaller on the plain weave even though it is the same weight carbon. Here is a MINI part I make and this one was done in 4x4, over four and under four:

This provides a very unique look and though I don't usually carry much on hand, I'll definitely be offering some things in 4x4.

The extra charge would be the cost of a replacement part. I think around $35.00. The best way to handle this would probably be for you to purchase a part and have it shipped directly to me for overlaying and then I can ship the completed part to you.

This is what I ordered online for the instrument visor / hood:

"Part number 2559085 visor, meter"

I just got the first parts in today, it took a little longer than I thought it would. It should only take a couple days to overlay the parts but because of my work load I would say a week to week and a half to turn the parts around.

Here are a couple pics of the first set of parts along with some new "bumper vents" I'm working on.
I'll be getting to the next set when the cores come in or if someone chooses to send parts for overlaying.

The 'vents' are primarily for base models with no fogs. The part is intended to be placed in that same area and used as brake ducting or ducted to cold air intake, etc., that's the idea at least, we'll see how they work out. A little more contour was added to the opening the the basic fog housing.

oh i see it now. they look rather good. any chance you could get them to be pointed at a more vertical angle so it would be better for a cold air intake?

i would be interested in a set of those too.

These are 2x2 twill carbon, but can be done in 1x1. I don't know what is used on the spoon spoiler but if you can post a pic, I should be able to tell.
