Rogue GE8 Cowl Scoop Interest / Developement (New Product)

It doesn't really prevent water from coming in, but I never ever had an issue with it and I would drive around in typhoons and monsoon type weather, even at times with the scoop off. The box also has a drain hole at the bottom of it in case of water.

I have asked this question before when I saw this on one of the member's car here, he is also from Indonesia. It really makes absolutely no sense to me and it definitely looks like it is more for looks than actual purpose. And about cooling the exmani, maybe if it was in the center of the cowl.

Here's some pics of the second prototype. I took a bit different approach to this one. Let me know what you think, keeping in mind the is still a concept prototype, the finished part will have better finish, the opening on the overhang will be covered and a mesh will be installed. This part will be sent right out for testing

Was looking at my cowl this weekend when I washed the car and now I know why the ones in Indonesia use the scoop on the driver side also, that's where the break in the cowl is. At least on the left-hand drive models the scoop can be of some use unlike the right-hand drive models. I still don't see why they placed the scoop, for those that did on the right-hand drive model as it really will not serve any benefit. So no Rogue scoop for me.
