We're looking to offer a $59.95 slim ballast HID kit on Fitfreak, any interest?

Hi all,

Until now the cheapest kit we've offered has been $79.95 but given how competitive it is these days with cheaper kits, we wanted to offer one for $59.95. Before signing up as a vendor, we'd like to gauge interest. Our GEN HID kit will feature slim ballasts and Super Vision HID bulbs. It will come with a 1-year warranty that follows the same warranty policy we have for all of our products.

Each kit will include the following

(2) Super Vision Xenon Bulbs
(2) Digital Slim Ballast
Plug and play wiring harness
Mounting materials

The temperatures offered with our GEN kit is different than the 3G. We offer 3000K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, and 10000K. We do not offer custom colors with our GEN product lineup.

Please note that unlike our 3G kits, the 5000K matches the OEM 4300K color, the 6000K is pure white, and 8000K is a light crystal blue.

Please leave your feedback and we'll be around to answer your questions. Thank you for your time.

Regards,
George

I think this is a single beam (low beam only), isn't it? Since I did not see controller.

Yes the price of $59.95 applies to single-beam kits. Our Bi-xenon option is an additional $35. Unlike our 3G kits, we do not offer the Hi/Lo option, which is $5 extra and gives you an HID low-beam with a halogen high-beam.

While we don't have photos of the GEN HID kit's colors, they are very similar to our 3G colors. You can view them here: Xenith Xenons - Premium Xenons in a Not-So-Premium Market.

Please note that in our GEN HIDs, the available colors are slightly different and they don't match the colors you see in our 3G kits. The 5000K is similar to the 4300K, the 6000K is a pure white, the 8000K is a light crystal blue, and the 10000K is a more solid blue color.

Yes we do sell LEDs, we can offer that as well once we're vendors. Pricing is definitely competitive and our service is top notch :)

From what I can tell having a "slim ballast" means you dont have to wire to the battery?

And George (xenith xenons) is the best at customer service for sure!

Might have to look into those interior led's

kenmei Jan 21, 2011 02:53 PM

would definately be interested at that price.

Thanks for the kind words Ryan!

And depending on the kit you have, you can have a slim ballast but still need to wire to the battery (bi-xenon kits come to mind). You can always incorporate a harness that draws power from the battery on single-beam kits as well, but you don't really need it and most people don't do it anymore.
