Oh, I wish could, if only for the amber blinkers, but it's just too much money at the same time as the initial outlay of cash for the car.

 

I'd participate in a group buy for the OEM JDM led tails in a heart beat. I might as well put red angel eye halos, red underbody leds, and those red led caps for the tire valves so my wheels can have a circular red glow when in motion. /S Sorry but the GE led tails look better.

 

How do we wire the upper portion since we have no harness up there?

 

You can just tap it to one of the wires that power when headlight switch is on, e.g. license plate lights.

 

Someone above mentioned there's another style that doesn't have the prominent striped light design - is that available from the same supplier? Pics?

I like the red smoked lens, but don't care for the stripey treatment that much.

Wow, you are totally right.

Supplier just send me this picture showing the wire needs to go through that hole and attach to license plate.
However, he said sine Gen3 Honda Fit sold in Europe doesn't come w/ a ready hole.

 

Meh get rid of wall of text. Anyway, if you want the "OEM look" you can get a pair of simple connectors, splice one connector to the license plate +/- and put the other connector to the LED tails. I was thinking we can probably do something similar to OEM led upper tails using the flexible LED tubing on eBay (of course in RED).

Alternatively, all we really need is the cheaper LED strips and the flexible tubing for difusing the light.

That looks much better Fatman. Makes me wonder where the reverse and amber lights are.

 

Since you have made contact with a supplier I want to at least see what deal they can give us if we have x amount of buyers etc.

 

Actually, this is estimated price. Because lamps are quite bulky, freight will be different for each person.
