looking for a DIY: license plate relocater
 
has anyone made there own license plate relocater? insted of buy one from like ebay or password jdm. id like to just buy some parts from like autozone and do it my self if anyone knows what id need and what id need to do let me know.

All i did was go to home depot purchased 2 "L" brackets, small nuts and bolts and 2 self tapping screws. Having those parts in your hand should be easy to do honestly. Let me know if you have any questions.

Someone else maybe can chime in on this?

That's about as inexpensive as it can be. The "L" brackets may rust, but since they are behind the license plate, no one will see it. The cheap eBay relocator that I bought is made of thin sheet aluminum (no rust), and it was worth my $11.00 to not have to cut and bend the sheet metal.

worked for me with the "L" brackets and it was under $2 LOL
I also bent the brackets so they are tilted.

i got some 14 gauge scrap stainless and cut a 1" L and mounted it to the top of the oem lip so that is semi covered one of my fog lights.
