I think about the only safe way would be to install a proper fuel cell of whatever size you want in the hatch area and either abandon the factory fuel tank or add some appropriate valves and switches to be able to select between the two. It would cost a fair bit of money to do properly and safely, and cut down considerably on your cargo room.
There are plenty of cheaper unsafe and typically illegal ways to do this. I don't recommend any of them. (For that matter, many fuel cell installations may also be illegal even if they are not really unsafe.)

An ATL Well Cell may be a good, high quality option in addition to the factory tank and should require the least amount of fabrication to fit properly and safely. They come in an 8 and 12 gallon (US gal) size. You'll have to relocate or eliminate the spare tire, but that's of little concern if you're serious about the project. Keep us updated if you do it!

How many miles are you looking to travel between stops?
To me the simplest method would be to just carry a jerry can full of gas. When you stop for a bathroom break, top off the Fit's tank and fill up the jerry can when you hit another petrol station. Looks like you're in Ghana so maybe petrol stations are spread further out?
The most miles I've driven on a tank of gas on my GK was 422 and I still had about another gallon of gas, so theoretically I could have gone another 45 miles. So lets say 450 miles. To travel 450 miles, that's about 7 hours of driving at about 60 MPH. By then I'd want to stop to use the facilities at so I'd fill the tank.
