Timing Belt, Scheduled Maintenance

Timing Belt, Scheduled Maintenance
There's no mention in the Owner's Manual in the maintenance section about when you should replace your Fit's timing belt. This is apparently different from Honda's published literature regarding the 2006 Maintenance Minder for some of its other models, in which the Code 4 meant that you should replace your timing belt.
Assuming the Fit has a timing belt, when should it be replaced? Not replacing a timing belt before it snaps can cost you lots of $$$, which is why I'm concerned that it's not built into the Fit's Maintenance Minder schedule.
Are there any other maintenance items that are crucial that are not mentioned in the manual, specifically in the Maintenance Minder schedule?

It's a great thing that we have timing chains! Belts usually last around 60000 miles, +/-, and they are always expensive to replace (if someone else does it) because you need to R&R the radiator and water pump to get to the belt.
Used car buying tip- when buying any Japanese car/truck/SUV at auction or private sale, if it has more than 75000 miles, don't buy unless there is a record of timing belt replacement. If it has the original belt, you will have a $500.00 (or more) expense waiting for you afer you buy the vehicle.

Speaking of water pumps, inspecting them is another thing that IS mentioned in the 2006 Maintenance Minder literature but not mentioned as part of the Fit's maintenance schedule. Should I take that to mean that the Fit doesn't have a water pump either? (Sorry if that sounds like a ridiculous question... I obviously don't have much experience under the hood... )
