Only Downside to Fit M/T I've Found
Prior to buying my M/T Fit Sport last month, I test drove an A/T until I found a M/T...I loved them both but loved the M/T so much better.
Wouldn't you know it, though, yesterday I tore some ligaments in my left ankle, so the Fit will sit at least for a couple of weeks  The moral to the story is to not screw up your left ankle if you drive a M/T. |
Ouch! :( Best wishes for a speedy recovery
That's my one fear with getting an M/T. Leg injury, while on a Fit + bike excursion (or even hiking), alone. I don't have a cell phone, either. I wonder, how do people manage in the rest of the world, where M/T is more prevalent? |
Yeah i suppose thats the risk you take when you purchase a MT car.
Hope you heel up quik and get back to driving the Fit soon! Tyler |
Thanks for the well wishes! I don't know how people get by. I read today that 25,000 people suffer ankle sprains per DAY!

Crazy, I've driven manual cars for 10 years, and I've never even thought about what would happen if I hurt my leg. I played soccer all through high school, and I hike and bike regularly. Surprisingly, I've never hurt my legs bad enough to where I couldn't drive. I can't believe I've never thought about this before.
