auto tranny problem

hey guys, i know the auto tranny on the fit has that paddle shifting function (only on the sports trim) but i was wondering, have anyone heard of any problems with that since this is pretty new for honda..

the reason i ask is i remember the last generation preludes having the auto-manual shift and the tranny were really bad...like it broke down in 50,000 bad...and that was new technology for honda..so im curious will it happen to the fit? maybe the fit here is too new to see..but how about the jazz from other countries? any problems with them?

thanks

Honestly, I haven't heard anything about a bad tranny. I, myself, have yet to experience any problems yet. I'm one of the "suckers" who bought the extended warranty, so I'm not too worried about it, at least until 100,000 miles :)

Its not new rechnology for Honda. You ought to see the specs on their 7 speed CVT automatic with paddles. Those the 5 speed manuals can take a back seat.
