Installed my center console

Easy installation only took about 20 minutes. Only thing i didnt like was that the front cup holders are slightly smaller in width and my insulated water bottle i take to the gym is a real tight fit. In the original console my water bottle fit perfectly. Its just a little smaller. Oh well. Having an arm rest is a major improvement for me. Not sure it would be that big a deal for manual transmission guys since there shifting alot but i have a sport with auto trans.
Still cant understand why its not at least a dealer option. If i hadnt found out about being able to get one i would have bought the nissan Versa SL over it. I really hate not having an arm rest.

Oh i got mine at evasive motor sports. More money than JDM but both JDM and college hills honda said they wont be getting any until august. Evasive got there shipment this past wensday.

Cant wait to get mine when the big GB goes through.
Glad to hear a good review :) And yes, it definetly should be at least a option.

i got mine as soon as i found out there was one, i found it online at aj racing which is local for me, they had one and i got it right away. it is the best thing ive done so far, of course its the only thing ive done, and it is not a problem with the 5spd

eldaino 06-13-2008 02:00 PM

so does aj's keep it in stock pretty regularly?

JapanParts.com

I have a business and pictorial review in the Armrest, questions, answers, comparisions photos thread.

EDIT: I included the posts since that thread is all kinds of messed up and out of order after Claymore combined a bunch of threads.

I just purchased a Black/Black armrest console and lid for $318.54 "To Your Door" from Japanparts.com. There are many colors to choose from and you have to order the console lid seperate, which means you can make whatever color combo you want from the available choices. the ordering system is a little funky, but it seemed relatively painless. They are saying that it will take 10-15 days for the package to arrive. I will let you know how it works out.

I prefer to have it in the normal position. Having the lid extended out does not work for me while driving the MT. But it is comfortable to just rest my arm. Go figure.

Darn, wish i new about japan.com before i spent more money on the console. I paid with shipping $372 , 318 i would have preferred. Oh well, no crying over spilled milk.

Fit_to_be_tied 06-13-2008 06:49 PM

thats what i got from aj racing

kenchan 06-13-2008 09:00 PM

i donno, i think the JDM one makes it look more like a corolla's interior.
i think the zeta one looks better with more 'fun' appearance..(?)

or maybe i just need new glasses. :o
