June & thru 07 Fit sales

July sales in
June Jan thru june
Fit 12,266 52,052
Vesa 8701 54,326
Yaris 8620 73,300

Thank you, Consumers report. We agree.
And you wonder why you had difficulty finding a Fit to buy.
By comparison note Honda sold 29,125 Civics in July, 234.086 for the year.

Seems like the Versa and Yaris have more steadier sales compared to the Fit though.

That was true with them selling at a 2:1 advantage over Fit til CR came out with their recommendation for the Fit. Since then Fit has surged ahead and with the roomier 09 should wipe out the Versa advantage. And according to Honda friends they are really looking at replacing the 1500 engine with the 1700 to get the torque advantage that doesn't shift so much and offers mpg equivalent to the 2004 Civic HX (40 -44 mpg.) I think thats why the Fit hydrid isn't 'planned' til 2015 - way off because it will likely be a diesel hybrid. Can you say 60 - 70 mpg?

Ohh I see what you mean, I wasn't following that CR had just recommended the Fit.
