MotorWeek -- Fit
This is the complete list of stations/times:
http://www.pbs.org/mpt/motorweek/stationlist.shtml If you have DISH or DirecTV, MotorWeek airs on Sats. 4 PM EST, Channel PBSU. I missed it!! Real nice of Honda to let us know -- I signed up for their newsletter and all I get is stuff about Acura and Accord, etc. Correction -- don't believe everything you read. I scanned my program listings and found the program will be aired on WBCC Channel 8282 tomorrow (Sun. 4/15) 10-10:30 AM EST. Not sure if that is strictly a local channel. If you have DISH, see if you have MotorWeek on 8282. Only 30 min. so the Fit will go by fast. |

Local PBS stations pretty much have total control over what to air and when, so its gonna be different for everyone. Here in Baltimore, we get three PBS stations -- WETA, WHUT, and the station that makes Motorweek, MPT.
I saw it today. if you've already clicked this link: http://www.mpt.org/motorweek/carkeys/ you've already read exactly what was said. It was nice to see a storm silver sport in action since thats the one im getting. |
Thanks for the info. I would have loved to see the Storm Silver in action, since that's the one I'm getting, too. I called DISH Network this morning. Last night I tuned into a local channel that plugs into some of the PBS programming, including MotorWeek. I set my VCR for 10 AM this morning, but all I got was a message that soon I wouldn't need two satellite dishes to watch the station. DISH customer no service told me that I was getting "crossover" reception last night while they're making the transition. She assured me I would get the station by the end of April. I told her that this morning may have been the only time I'd ever watch it! She was apologetic and of course it wasn't her fault so I didn't give her a hard time about it. According to PBS's website, DISH is supposed to offer PBS-U, but it doesn't -- not yet. General bad timing. I appreciate everyone on the Forum sharing their photos & info to help me get through the next few days!
