I personally can't stand the look of sedans, not to mention the issue of being stuck with a trunk that may not fit everything. I just find the look to be too 'last-generation' and an overall inefficient use of space.
Cant say I disagree.

As I've said before,...I've generally been stuck between the versatility of an SUV (going over anything in your way, space, etc.) and the fuel economy of a small car. The Fit will limit me to road-terrain, but other than that, it'll be a good compromise.

I'm awaiting the suburbans and Tahoes w/ their patented dual-mode hybrid technology coming out (all gas, all electric, or dual mode), but I realize that I wont be in the price range when they do arrive.

Hey now! I had an 85 wagon and I loved it. So now let's not start dissin other cars. I admit though, it wasn't the prettiest thing on the road, but something about it was just so cute.

It'll never get into your head that not everybody thinks hatches look ugly. Personally, I'd rather take the bus than drive a sedan or a coupe.

hatchback. Thats all there is to it. Some hate em. I love em! Try getting 2 big tech divers with gear into a trunk and you'll see what a work of art and engineering the fit truly is.

I little more info on this so-called recall, which we other Honda employee's really call a technical service bulliten ( recalls are for safety concerns, not potential technical issue's taht may arise on few models after the initial release). Anyways, about the technical service bulletin, there is a wind noise taht comes from the upper front wind-shield molding area not being properly secured to the body, thus is could have also caused a waqter leak if let un-toucehed over a little time, honda had found this issue a day in advanced and advised all dealer to how to fix the problem before they can sell teh vehicles! Thus meaning this is not something that new owners have to worry about, the thread started forgot to or just didn't care to tell teh full truth about this, just mainly to state how ugly he thinks the car is.

Great car, but not practical. Ever move a BBQ in one? Ever stumbled on a wicked deal at a garage sale and drove off with a kids piknik table in the back?

Economy cars aren't meant to be stylish, but practical. I find the Pilot and Element look fugly, buy I'd still buy either if I required the features they offer.

If you bought a 1 or 2 year old S2000 for $16.5k, it either has a bad title or something else severly wrong with it. So, which was it?

When I traded my 2 year old S2000, I got just under $23k on the trade.

While I understand that you think the Fit is ugly, you are taking a lot of time to come back to this thread to keep saying the same thing over and over again. You must have a lot of free time on your hands.

That being said, I must as well, as I not only took the time to read this crap, but I took the time to reply!

Lets face it, he's a troll, he came here to say how ugly it is, and to say he can't believe there is a recall already, which again he's wrong for calling it a recall, and he's even more wrong for not noting that this is a issue that has to be taken care of before any Fit can ever be sold in teh States, thus meaning this is something to not worry about, IMO.

i paid a little less the the 16.5k for mine, then yet i work for a dealer, adn the discount was only 500.00 less then MSRP, after adding a few accessories on though it'll be back up there, lol, once i added in tag's taxe's, and registration it crested just over 17k, but still not bad for a loaded new car.

I don't have a Fit but I have two friends (possibly three) that have already bought one. No, they're not the BEST looking Honda but I still think they look pretty cool. Of course, this car isn't about looks, it is all about functionality. It's got space, it's fairly comfortable and good gas mileage.

I wouldn't sell my car to get one but I definitely wouldn't mind having one as a second car for my commutes.

ROTFLMAO!

Somehow I knew you wouldn't miss that. I was thinking of your posts concerning your 85' wagon when I was typing that. I'm sure it was a beloved vehicle to you, but it just was my least favorite Honda.

As a utility vehicle, it was a far better choice than it's competition of the time (the four door Toyota Tercel hatch.....yuk!). But as I said, a bad looking Honda is still better than the best looking competition.

Really is a recall

Got this from my friend unless he's jerking me around -
I talked to someone who works for honda and if you just got a Fit there is a notice about windnoise from the front window. So all new Fits are to have the upper window molding removed and have better sealant installed to keep the trim glued down.

So you did it just to get me huh? It's nice to be thought of, and it's nice that "the beast" while ugly is still thought of so fondly. I loved her. Too bad CA emissions didn't. But the state gave me $1K to crush it so for a $700 investment on a 20 yr. old car, that wasn't too bad. I do wish I still had it though, 35 MPG, easy to fix, roomy, clean. I miss her.
