A/C power/flow on the Fit

For those who have driven the Fit, what the A/C like? Does it move the air well? I'm afraid the smaller engine might mean the A/C will be weak....

I was actually surprised at how cold the A/C was in the Fit. I had to turn it down to the lowest level. But it wasn't really that hot outside. So, I don't know how it would handle 90+ degree weather.

Wow that is awsome to hear... Will be great for all of that hot summer days in the mid-west.

Add some tint and it should be VERY effective.

So on top of our car's being slow as nuts stock, when teh A/C is on it's going to be slower, lol, i can't wait to use teh A/C, this is the first car i have owned in my 10 years of driving that has A/C.

I test drove a Fit for the first time today. I'm friends with a Honda salesman and him, my mom, dad and I all went for a cruise. I thought that with all of us in the car and the A/C blowing (it was mid 70's today) it would be a good test of how much power this car had. I was so suprised the car really felt like it still had power. This little 1.5L VTEC seems pretty strong. I'm definitely impressed and it was a great selling point. Now I just have to decide if I'm actually going to go through with this. I'll have to sell my STi outright or possibly trade it in.

I just got my Fit S w/MT here in Michigan. It was about 75 degrees out with moderate humidity. I went to get my wife for dinner from work @ 6pm which is on a dirt road and very dusty. I went from windows down on pavement to recirc and a/c. After picking her up I forgot to turn the a/c off until she got too cold and commented.

Now I know this is not a true test of the a/c at 6 pm and 75 degrees but I can say that unlike the older 1985 Civic Wagon (died 10 years ago) or my Saturn SC2 (son's car since the 20th) I did not notice the load or compressor cycling.

It's not an M3 but it is great fun so far. If you haven't driven one, do so. It will clear up alot about wether it "FITs" your life style.
