Will 18's fit on a Fit Sport?
Anyone know if 18's will fit on a Fit? Anyone know the lug pattern and offset? None of the wheel shops in OC know.

You might run a 205/35/18 size tire with an 18X7 wheel. As far as offset goes, I'm not sure, maybe the stock 42mm.

I found this posted elswhere on FiTfreak:
15x7 +42/+38 16X7 +42/+40 17x7 +42/+38 I don't know about the accuracy of these numbers bolt pattern is the venerable 4x100 18" wheels? anybody make a 215 20r18 tire? I suppose you could just use a few rubber bands:rolleyes: I have heard that the 17" wheel is as far as it goes. Think of all the money you'll save and the extra unsprung weight you won't be loading on your car if you can't use 18s! I have also heard that wheels this big and heavy on this car really hurt acceleration general performance. All in all, however, I say 'do your thing' and enjoy. |
I think a set of 18" Volks on a lowered car would look pimp

Wouldn't 18 inch wheels have a _negative_ impact on performance? Not slamming the idea, but wheels that size would be extremely heavy.

Looking at some pictures you'd need to lower the car about 3" just for a reasonable ride height. For that kind of mod you're looking at rolling fenders and pulling wheel well liners. I'd have to think the tires would rub on the inner fender at full lock for sure.
https://www.fitfreak.net/gallery/dis...up&cat=0&pos=0 These are 17" and the car needs about 2" of drop with very little space left. |
