I hate my steelies!

Is it sad that I'm so tired of seeing steelies on my Fit that I'm tempted to go to the salvage yard and pick up a cheap set of 15'' alloys from a 1991-93 Accord? They are ugly as butt, but wheels and tires are less than $100. Yay or nay?

They wont fit, they aren't the correct bolt pattern, and that body style accord ran from 1990*- 1993, not 1991.

Are they 4x114 or whatever rather than 4x100?

GD3_Wagoon 09-29-2009 05:21 PM

yup, they're 4x114

Edison Carasio 09-29-2009 06:11 PM

Would you guys happen to know what other models of OEM alloys would be 4x114 so I don't get a set of those by mistake? lol

4-lug accords and preludes are all that come to mind at this moment. good luck with your search!

Looks like it back to saving up for some pricey GSR blades, Integra LS Meshies, Civic Si 10 spoke, or GE8 16'' alloys. :( I'm cheap and don't want steelies. Guess I can't have my cake and eat it too. Wanna stay OEM.

So keep the steelies.. and save up and buy something WORTH spending your money on. Teg LS meshers are nice, so why don't you save sum cash, buy those and refurbish them?

GD3_Wagoon 09-30-2009 10:31 AM

older 4-lug BMW's are 4x100
i would look into the wheel OD first and make sure it's big enough to clear the GD's hub bore (56.1mm). if it's big enough, pick up a set! one piece meshies would look good on a base GD :D
