My wife has an automatic GD3 Sport. I have a manual GD3 Base.
MT + lighter weight = win in a race.
AT + cruise control + iPod jack = win for road trips.

We have the best of both worlds.

My car is absolutely faster than the wifey's Fit. Hers handles better, so it'd be a wash on a tight road.

My gf drives an 09 Aveo comparable to the sport. Hers is 4AT and mine is 5AT. I think the fit would take her but it would be close in a drag. In the twisties I would have it for sure. The Aveo likes to "float" lol
