don't know if i can live with this radio

does anybody have any pictures of an after market stero for a 2010 base model? if that is even possibly with this dash.

first u need something like this
Honda Fit Kit Fits 2009-up models with silver finish — chassis sizes I, E, and DD at Crutchfield.com

then u need the most awesome head unit u can get.

all installed by a professional..

i just got rid of mine and installed the alpine x001 that i had in my previous car. the only thing i miss is the big buttons. i'll trade that for awesome sound any time. check out the 2nd gen ICE section when you're ready to figure out the install.

should have known that crutchfields has everything.do you have one in?is the kit cheap and flimsy.ive had a couple of kits and they seem made out of cheap plastic .thanks

the kit that I got from crutchfield is made by metra. it's a decent fit and quality. a passenger probably would not notice the quality difference but since I own the car, I can tell that it's not OEM. I can take pictures tomorrow but I think you'll find some picures in the 2nd gen ICE section from other members.

nope. I'm not sure that I'm going to. just changing out to a good deck is a huge improvement in sound quality.

i wouldn't think the speakers would hold the radios power. i'll have to give it a try
