Wow, here it is June and I'm still waiting...
 

Great to see a lot of folks have gotten their Fits.
I put a deposit on one way back in April (15th), have had more than one round a bout with dealers, I see you can now order one online... for $14,550 My dealer told me the latest info - bill date (or is that build date) June 10, and should be seeing it around the end of the month. I'm more than sceptical that it'll be more like July... Never have i been in such a prediciment! How long must i wait? I do on occasion see one on the road, and am so envious!

wow that's weird...you put a deposit down in april and the build date is in june? either alot of ppl ordered before you or you getting put back because people are paying more...something isn't right here...

Yeah...not right at all. I went to the dealership to get one...two days and 320 miles later, it arrived and was in the showroom. Drove outta there with it then.

Hopefully you'll get it soon.

My build date was 5/23 and I pick it up tomorrow. They told me it would get here within 30 days from the build date which I guess is true in my case. Actually it arrived on 6/20 so a couple of days early.

don't wait, dealerships lie.
i felt immediately after 2 weeks of putting the deposit down. i just couldn't trust them, no build date, no follow-ups, no VIN, no deliver date. so, one day i just emailed more than 15 dealerships, and just one in one dealership's lot that day in the whole bay area. got it that day, simpler than waiting.

I got a June 5th build date after putting down a deposit and waiting a little over two weeks. I was told that it usually takes 25 days after the build date to arrive at the dealer. I'm in Portland, so there is a major port here... I don't know if that means 25 days is faster than normal, though. I should get the car next Friday!

Good luck with getting your Fit! If it takes 25 days for yours, it should show up a few days into July!

You should read the "Storm Silver Sport MT availability in DFW?" thread in regards to putting a depsit. One of the members mentioned the "taking you off the market" technique. Who knows, they might have been more dilligent if you hadn't put a deposit down. :rolleyes: :confused: :rolleyes:
