Wiper Noise Update Part II - it ain't fixed yet
 

I took my Fit in yesterday and they replaced the wiper motor - no luck. My wipers are still scraping - not as bad but still scraping. My service guy is going to go back and talk to Honda to see what else can be done.
The service manager came out and talked to me. He was really apologatic. I think he's worried I will give them a bad rating, because he mentioned Honda might call me with a survey. It is frustrating, but I don't blame them. They are trying everything to resolve the problem; and it is a new vehicle, so it's trial and error. I'll keep you guys posted.

Oh, by the way, I did get my door ding fixed ($60). :mad:

I think others have replaced their windshield wipers with aftermarket ones that got rid of the noise, maybe you could work something out with the dealer?

Yeah...they are pretty f-ing annoying...I had REALLY great luck with my PIAA Super silicon wipers on my Tundra. I may just have to pick up a pair soon...

I dropped a set of Trico Teflon blades on my Fit (model 15-240 on driver's side and 15-160 on passenger side), and it's a bajillion times better!

Standard Trico "Exact Fit" would be models 24-1 and 16-1.

yeah my wipers were making a noise the other day when it was pouring over here...i am just going to change them:cool:

anybody know the correct sizes for thoes that would like to change the blades?

Is this something that would qualify under the lemon law that the manual mentioned?
