My Car Won't Start!!

This morning when I went to get into my car and start it NOTHING HAPPENED! The gauges didn't come one, it beeped once and then nothing happend.. the wheel didn't even lock and the gauges didn't light! Nothing.. I could turn the key w/out it locking too.. I had to take my mom's 626 to work and when I get home today I will try and fix it.. I think its the battery but nothing I have done would have messed with the battery onlything like that would of been a grounding kit, no wires are near the postive termnial though.. any ideas or should I just call honda?

When you get home try jumping the battery or cleaning the terminals and see if that works. Did you leave your lights on overnight or something? I don't see why your new cars battery would already be dead.
Let us know what you find out.

Forgot to ask...is your CEL on??

More than likely it is something really simple.

Good luck!

I would say call Honda first since your at work and just inquire bout it then go home and check your battery to be sure.

Just something to take into consideration, when a tailight or marker bulb goes out on my Tacoma, it will not start. I did not realize this until after I had it towed. So maybe check all of the bulbs on the car.... other than that I would just call Honda and let them know. GOOD LUCK!

Has to be the battery. If it doesn't jump start then you know it is dead.

^^^ good point. Faulty connection. Tighten the terminals and check for corrosion.

I accidentally left my door ajar the other day. I come to find out that the interior MAP light turns itself off after a set time. Make sure your negative cable is properly tightened. Battery could also be a dud.
