Honda Clips

I am just curious where I can buy the plastic clips for your bumper and shield other than the dealer. Will any parts store carry them such as part source? I noticed today I'm missing one or two on the bumper and one on the shield that has it hanging a little bit. I want to fix these minor issues but don't want to pay $4-$5 per clip.

The clip are not that expensive Bernadi Honda has them listed at $1.70 if these are the clips you are talking about shipping is the killer. I would check with your local Honda dealer to get a quote. If it is too high take remove another clip and take to a auto parts store should find something close.

Good luck.

Check eBaymotors.com and search for "bumper clips". REALLY cheap prices, but most come from Chinese vendors. Might be OK quality, but also might not.

Got mine at a Honda dealer like ten to a big bag of the three different sizes and it was cheap like $10.00 bucks or so for all 30 of them and those should last forever.

Going to call my dealer and find out. I would love to buy a bag of them in different sizes. Carry them in the trunk for whenever I may need one.

The prices that claybang quoted are worthless to you. You don't live in Thailand- he does. Clip prices at a Canadian dealer will be higher.

yah, ebay, amazon. check their tenants for honda bumper clips.

Different sizes? I thought these were universal clips?

Like sure the bumper clips may be bigger than the wheel well clips. Is that what you mean?

I wasnt aware of these size issues. Want to buy some clips to replace the broken ones an missing ones under the bumper and in the wheel covers. What size would I be looking at for that?

I haven't called my dealer yet. Will be doing that later today. Will post the price of the clips from local dealer. I hope I don't have a heart attack after hearing the price. It'll ruin my lunch break haha.

Alright gents here is the verdict.

$5.25 CDN per clip.

Looks like I'm goin to either princess auto or part source with a clip and going to find a similar one. Don't really need OEM do I? 5.25 is steep per clip. And no they do no sell packs of them. You want 10 the guy says, then do. $5.25 times 10 and that'll be your price for your package of 10. Honda, your attitude stinks when dealin with the customer.

loudbang 08-29-2013 03:27 AM

There are three types and sizes. Under the hood holding the front bumper on has two different ones and there is a real small one I forget where it goes but it used much less than the two big ones.

What a rip off. Sure pop one out and try your local parts place. What you are looking for is the size under the washer type section that goes in the hole match yours to universal ones and no need to use Honda ones.

That and POSSIBLY the length will be the only difference between the EXPENSIVE Honda ones.

A lot of other brands of car use them now so match them up.

GinoLicious 08-30-2013 05:10 PM

OEM is not a concern. These are dumb little clips that I don't see a difference between any kind really.

I will let you all know how it goes at my parts store. Just need 4-5 for the under part of the bumper, do not know how I lost so many. I guess hitting things hahaha.

Well I bought my clips from Part Source. 15 pack was only 6 dollars with taxes. On the packaging they do say GM. But they appear to be the proper size. They do look a little different than the OEM Honda ones. But they are basically the exact same thing at the price of 1 from Honda for 15 from Part Source. I am not mad at all.

Does not ship to Canada.

Looks like I bought the wrong clips from Part Source and they do not have any other ones that are similar.

Not sure what to do here guys. Do I really have to go to Honda.
