Four 55,000 tires for $206
 

I’ve done something like this in the past (for other vehicles) and it's worked out nicely. Look for something similar on black Fri and Memorial Day. I think they did something on of these holidays last year.

Purchased Four 195 /55 R16's from Discount Tire for $93.00 each. Bridgestone Potenza RE97 A/S with Low Rolling Resistance Technology.
Declined Road hazard warranty.
Paid $64 for Installation and lifetime spin Balancing.
$70 rebate from Bridgestone.
$100 rebate from Discount for purchasing four high quality tires.
$60 rebate for using my Discount Tire Credit Card.

I have verified that all rebates have been approved
Net $206.:D My receipt does not show tax but I'm assuming it will show up on when the Credit Card bill shows up.
There might be some argument to getting Road Hazard from Discount. From others who prorate mileage I think it's a rip off.
I had to specifically ask them about this tire. They kept steering me to Yokohama tires.
Tire options were limited if you wanted all the rebates. Also I was able to purchase these over the phone using my card number. I was out of town during the offer. Also they are letting me install the tires in Oct.

Sorry, let me clarify. I just purchased tires this last Labor Day (9-4). The rebates varied depending on the quality of the tire. The second rebate was for using a Discount Tire Credit Card. I received the Bridgestone kickback for buying 4 tires.

I know they have done other stackable rebates in the past. I just don't remember which hollidays. I think it was Memorial Day but it could have been Black Friday as well (or both).

I remember seeing this deal during Labor Day. They just recently had a deal via eBay as well. They typically inflate the tire prices a bit when these sales are going on. You are still getting a good deal though.
None of the tires I want utilize these sales though. Maybe next time, either S-Drives or BFG Sport Comp2's.

I have a salvage title with an alignment issue that is suspect so I will always look for a deal. One company said it was off the other said it was not. I have 37,000 miles on the oem tires. The accident occurred at 6,700 miles. I could probably get at least 40,000 but will probably change them before driving to Fl in the middle of Oct. My main problem is an inner wear on a couple of the tires.

I think I've solved that problem by inflating the tire to about 40 psi. The inner wear is opposite of what should be occurring if my alignment is off. I'm thinking it is because I may have run them under inflated. I've been fairly good about rotating. Regardless a fit with 7,000 miles for 10 grand. I don't mind replacing the tires a bit more often. I don't think I got 40,00 miles of my fist (2009) fit.

So, you bought a salvage Fit with an alignment issue (that neither you nor the previous owner who wrecked it have fixed) for $10000? I can't blame you for looking for a good price anywhere you can because clearly you didn't get one on the car!

I said a potential alignment issue. The original alignment numbers on one of the rear tires was barely out of spec. Another fit contributor had no problems with similar numbers.

It drives perfect even at higher speeds. A more recent alignment disagreed with the original numbers. They told me they looked fine. As I also said I'm approaching 40,000 miles on the tires and I still have a fair amount of tread available.

the rear wheels aren't adjustable. even if they were out of alignment they wouldn't be adjustable to fix them.

Shims make adjusting the camber and toe possible.
