shorter people here, how do you wax your Fit's roof?

Out of all the cars I've ever owned my Fit seems to have the highest roof or the toughest reach that I know of. A crossover such as a Nissan Juke is only 1.8 inches higher than the Fit, while a Fiesta is 3.6 inches lower than the Fit. Thus when I wind up waxing my car I open the doors and stand on top of the Fit's floor. I keep thinking if I was only 3 inches taller, I wouldn't have to go through this trash.

High heals? ;) I use a step ladder on the Odyssey for gaining access, only need to move it once on each side to get full reach on the top.

I have used a ladder, still have to be careful though. I do like the head room in a Fit, though it probably would not provide much protection if you rolled it since you can dent the roof easily with your hand. But you are less likely to hit your head and wrench your neck when going over a bump.

You realize the roof sheetmetal is like the least of your concerns in terms of safety, right?

I have a small step but I use it when cleaning/waxing my SUV. Take a look at Durabench also. It is portable and easy to carry yet a bit pricey.
