Dumb things we've done in or with our Fits
 

Early this morning I jumped the curb and bottomed out making a left hand turn at an intersection. Wasn't paying attention. Scared the crap outta me. Pulled over and checked my undercarriage and everything looked ok. Later today I also squashed my rear hubcap at a McDonald's drive thru, on a curb no less - not paying attention again. The hubcap needs replacing. Dumba$$. :(

My Fit is a pothole magnet. Two of my rims have dings or rash from potholes. Also scraped up my front bumper and the plastic shield from hitting a massive pothole. I was able to slow down some so it could have been worse, but was still fuming. Scraped some paint off the bumper but luckily it's low enough that it's not visible unless you're looking from below. Maybe a front lip will cover it up :D

It tried to see how well my VSA worked on a snowy curve. It does not allow you to defy the laws of physics. I slid into a curb and trashed a rim. Works fine as traction control but it's apparently not a real-time VSA.

You three need to learn how to drive.

i thought this was gonna be like the Prius commercial with the bank robbers...

Sometime ya gotta explore the limits.

Found out while parking the car that the alloy wheel sticks out further than the OEM tires, and will scrape the curb first.
