Honda Roadside Assistance

Anyone ever use it? Just got a bill to renew my AAA Road Service and thinking I should cancel it if Honda will do the job.

Thanks.

I have the Better World Club instead of AAA and they are awesome. Not sure about Honda. Usually those plans are pretty limited.

I have used it once and I was happy with the service. I'm not sure if that's typical or not though. Mine is free for the first three years, so I'll use it and then decide if I want to switch.

i had to use it LONG time ago... like decades ago after being stranded... engine just flaked out and would not turn over.

they just sent out a local contracted AAA kinda guy to tow me back to the dealer. everything was free, car was fixed under warranty and it appears i was not the only one cause honda issued a recall about a month later.

Thanks for the replies. At $52 a year, think I'll just cancel AAA as the Honda Roadside Assistance provides the same services. $52 will buy a lot of gas for my Fit.

yes, and check with your insurance too after the honda's plan expires. chances are, u can get a real good deal on a roadside assistance program from ur insurance probably offers. :) aaa's good if u travel a lot and need info on travel plans.

ive enrolled 2 cars dat have already passed the factory warranty period with my insurance. i just call and they send out a tow trunk or help you with changing tires if flat, jump battery, etc.

Good idea. Thanks. Just checked and my insurance company does offer it. Can't recall the last time I used AAA for travel information. Pretty much rely on my iPad.
