LED headlights, effect waranty?
Can I safely replace the incandescent bulbs in my headlights, without risking my warranty coverage? Reports from fit freaks about these Super Bright LEDs say that they work well with the voltage supplied to them in daytime running light mode, however I am worrying that they might cause damage to some computer chip somewhere, being that they may not have the same resistance, or impedence, as the original incandescents. And if there is some damage caused to some computer somewhere, if Honda sees I have LED lamps installed, can Honda claim I caused the damage by installing the LEDs - perhaps they might refuse to honor the warranty, even though the damage was not caused by the LEDs - but blame it on the LEDs.

They have to prove the damage is caused by the aftermarket parts.
So states the Magnusson-Moss warranty act. |
