New Fit Owner / Member
We just put our deposit down on a new Fit - 2019 DX. Ultra-bare-bones. Just the way I've always loved my cars. Manual transmission. No AC. Nothing extraneous. The salesman was a little surprised when I expressed disappointment that the windows weren't actual roll ups. My wife can't drive a stick shift, yet. But she really wants to learn. We have an old VW Cab ('87) as a learner, and I think with the quality of Honda manuals, she should be more than OK.
Anyway - I've always loved the Honda Fit. Seriously considered one a few times - but ended up with a Civic and CR-Z when I previously left Honda dealerships. I've also owned a few other interesting cars - from a VW GTI to a Mazda 3, from a Miata to a particularly fun '71 MGB - and from my test drive, the 'fun to drive' factor here is right up there. I'm excited because my wife and I need the cargo hauling capability of this car - but wanted to keep elements of the light 'flick-ability' we enjoyed in the Miata and the MG. It may not be all the way there - but the Honda sure seems like it'll be easier for camping, surfing, and diving trips. Anyway - I've always been a fan of getting involved in the online car community whenever I buy a new one - so here I am! https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.fit...d3fa645a80.jpg |

Welcome to the forums!
No A/C?! Hardcore!!! AC is used during defogging of the windows inside the car. Have you experienced any issue without A/C? |
