I bought it @ MSRP in Miami. Some other dealerships around town were marking them up $1500 to $2500. Largo Honda, MSRP + tax/tag. Not bad...

The Honda Carland in Cartersville GA was asking $1000 over the MSRP..my dad is driving all around to see if we can find a place that will give it up for the MSRP or might be willing to bargain because Honda Carland wasn't willing to bargain even with the MSRP. They even told us that it was very natural and every place was doing it and I'd never find one for that price. Lol..Sadly I found one in a different color in Woodstock for the MSRP on the dot. Too bad it wasn't the right color or that baby would have been mine!!

I paid MSRP. Out of accessories preinstalled on the car by dealership we negotiated that wheel locks and the tail pipe cover were included in the price but I did pay for the rear bumper cover/protector. I guess that was a good deal.

Paid MSRP in NJ with no trade-in, dealer installed accesories, or extended warranty. However, the dealer did charge us a rather hefty ($200) "Doc Fee". I tried to get them to take that fee off the deal. However, the dealer didn't budge because they had quite a few other customers lined up for the same car at the time.

I'm located in Northern Jersey. No mark ups, but also no cars available in manual. They were willing to discount autos but I don't want it.

In Clearwater, FL (near Tampa) I was quoted MSRP. It should be arriving next week, we'll see if anything changes.

No Markup at Gillman Honda in Houston

Gillman sold me a MT Sport at MSRP with the usual TT&L. This was a cash sale with no trade in.

Thumbs down

Lucas Honda in Jacksonville, FL wanted $1500 over MSRP. They waived that but obligated me to sign up for an extended service plan that I promptly cancelled. They also asked for an additional $1000 downpayment AFTER the sale (which I refused), and screwed me $280 on my trade-in.

Just got my Sport AT

At Norm Reeves West Covina, CA: $1000 mark-up but got protection package (all season floor mats, cargo tray, wheel locks), some freebies and windows tints in return.

Other dealers in the area want around this price with nothing.

I have a deposit down only as of right now, but the dealership pretty much has me by the balls since there aren't many FITs in the tampa bay area that are available. They are charging $1300 for a "power pack" wish is pinstriping and door/fender molding, which they knocked down to $500. I don't want any of that stuff and asked them to forgo doing it even if I paid the $500 bucks, but they said they "have to". Anyways, I am about to pay $18,100 for a MT Sport, but I am going to try to kill them with accessories and tint. I could only find one MT NHBP FIT in the Tampa Bay area and it was scheduled to be built two weeks after I put the deposit down. It's a small sacrifice to save some cash in the long run. Plus I will be able to pay this car off in less than 3 years.
