I paid msrp for my FS Auto. Got a few add ons which bumped the price up a little. My local dealer is selling them at MSRP for now to get some on the road. He suspected that the bosses were going to start marking it up a little in the coming months. The profit margin is pretty low on these cars. Word is that in SoCal dealers are marking them up by $2k or more as well. Luckily I'm in a much smaller market.

it really depends on the tax rates.
i got mine 17500 out the door.
sport manual, black, no accessories.
san francisco bay area, it's the worst place for new cars, 99% of the salesmen i have talked to, very very lack of knowledge, service is bad, non business sense and most of all arragont. all of them ask you to pay more than MSRP, or they will say things like "i will pass on that", "that's below invoice price that you are offering me", etc, sh*t like that. if honda knows they have a group of salesmen talk like that, they will be horrified and shocked....
my honda shopping experience has been so bad when i was looking for the Fit. i didn't know nowadays, salemen are so poor in knowledge and services. until today, i met a saleman, i think he is one of the gold club leader and works for a few honda dealership. 99% of them don't know the car better than you do. and they can't convince you without bring their sale manager out to give you craps.... but anyway, i got it, done with all the stupid sales talk.
