Honda Mall of Georgia, Atlanta, GA Good Experience!
I had a great experience at the Honda Mall of GA, which is about 25 miles northeast of Atlanta (owned by Penske).
After looking at the competition, I knew it was going to be a Sport Fit AT, just not sure whether it would be blue or silver. I called several dealerships, and actually visited a couple of them (Milton Martin in Gainesville and Gwinnett Place in Duluth). Although my experience was fine at the latter two, I felt more comfortable at HMoG. I test drove a Fit on a Sunday - and then told the salesman (Dean Wertz) that I was ready to purchase, just as soon as one came in. He assured me it would only be a few days. Sure enough, several arrived by Wednesday morning - I took my 16 year-old along after work (if his grades stay up throughout the next three years, the car becomes his...he picked Storm Silver) - and drove it home that evening. I paid MSRP for the car, and felt I got a good deal on my 2002 Odyssey (I'd done my homework). I got lightly pitched for the add-ons, but only took the floormats. I bought my Honda Care extended warranty through a dealership in RI, saving a ton of money over what HMoG wanted for the same contract.
I keep reading on these boards about dealerships charging more than MSRP...and not being able to deliver Fits. If that's the case where you are, consider purchasing one through HMoG and buying a one-way ticket to Atlanta! My car, by the way, was built sometime in August (according to the sticker on the doorjam, but the actual date is not listed)...I took delivery on Wednesday, Sept. 6th.
This is the second new vehicle I've purchased from them...and I would definitely recommend them to friends.
