Which combo of these chassis braces will give the most bang for your buck in terms of changing/improving handling? Which are the most important?

 

Which Fit do you have? Generally the ladders and 4 points offer the biggest difference in handling and performance since they don't allow any twisting. However, strut bars and lower tie bars are our best sellers!

 

I have a 2010 GE. That's really interesting, as it's the opposite of what I thought to be true..... I was under the impression that a rear sway bar will have the largest effect, and the mid-chassis braces the least.

 

The ladder definitely makes a huge difference. The rear sway bar helps keep the rear end stable during cornering.

 

Are these simple bolt ons with very clear instructions?

does it come with screws? or just use the factory one!!
I see from your pix the 2 Point Mid-Chassis Tie Bar uses a screw that have a big spacer b/w the bar and chassis, so that comes with the bar? 4 screws?

Correct. For the mid tie, hardware is included. Most items use the same stock hardware. A few will have additional hardware included!

 

Bump! Let's get this thing going!

 

What is the practical and tangible difference between the benefits of the lower front bar and the front strut bar? What will one get me over the other? I'm trying to decide which 2-4 pieces I should do to maximize handling performance.

 

Did you ever do a test fit of the GD parts?

 

The front strut ties the top, the lower tie bar ties the bottom. You likely will feel more of a difference with the front strut though since it toes across the engine bay, where there isn't as much bracing as the axle area, where the lower tie bar is installed. The lower tie bar completes the cage for the front end though.

As for the GD, we got confirmation from the manufacturer the GD parts do indeed fit (no pun intended) the US spec!
