This is what a real one looks like:
http://lib.store.yahoo.net/lib/twincamtech/mulgbb.jpg This is what the ebay one looks like: http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...on/Cover-2.jpg The horizontal line on the shift grid is too thin. The red horizontal line is too short. The shape of the emblem is totally wrong (no curved edges) and the dimensions are off too (look at the space between the edge of the emblem and the 'D'). Also, the Mugen logo is too big. There are tons of these fakes floating around Thailand and they're just starting to make it onto Ebay. The seller is also selling Mugen Equipped badges but those are fake as well. Fake Ebay Emblem http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u...tycoon/EQ1.jpg Real (my) Emblem http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...n/DSC00837.jpg Take a close look at the Kanji on the fake ebay emblem. Notice how everything seems to be well rounded. Also, note that the top right hand 'hole' of the six holes and notice how it is closed off. Here's a close up of the real emblem: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...n/DSC00836.jpg See how the Kanji is not rounded off and includes the difference is shape of the top right hand 'hole'. Also the font used for the word 'Mugen' is incorrect. BTW, the Mugen Equipped emblem only looks like the one I posted. There are some poor fakes out there that are black wording on silver background and vice versa! |
man you have an eye for detail, thanks for clearing that up! :)
|
with an sn like that, it's no doubt why he knows his mugen. ;)
