I highly doubt it.....not running on Methanol.
Methanol or Ethanol burn at much lower temps than gas, less volatile, making engine starting in cold weather extremely hard. Methanol as a fuel in spark ignition engines can offer an increased thermal efficiency and more power output (as compared to gas) due to its high octane rating (114) and high heat of vaporisation. It has a low energy content of 19.7 MJ/kg and stoichiometric air fuel ratio of 6.42:1 meaning that fuel consumption (on volume or mass basis) will be much higher than hydrocarbon fuels. The extra H2O produced also makes the charge rather wet and combined with the formation of acidic products during combustion, the wearing of valves, valveseats and cylinder can be higher than with hydrocarbon burning. Additives can be added to motor oil in order to help neutralize these acids. Methanol itself is also more corrosive to fuel system components (this problem is seen with ethanol also).
Methanol is hygroscopic, meaning water absorbtion is coming directly from the atmosphere. Because absorbed water is corrosive and dilutes the fuel value of the methanol, containers of methanol fuels must be kept tightly sealed, and cannot be stored for long periods of time....as you can see Methanol can help alot in adding power but at the same time wear down your engine.....I do not think that EVO on 100% Meth is a daily.

The evo is running a alky injection kit on pump gas, and NOT pure methanol in the gas tank.

And its quite common mod for evo's running a alky injection kit + high boost on a daily basis without any issues. ;)

yah, i run Snow's water/meth injection on RSX. pretty awesome stuff, squeezed a nice ~30whp from that alone.
