It's stupid when people complain about getting tickets

It's ridiculous when people complain about getting a ticket for tint, exhaust, or speeding. YOU BROKE THE LAW. Bite the bullet and pay the damn fine or fix it and get the inspection.

It's your fault you got a ticket. "Oh no I get pulled over a lot!" Maybe if you had a front license plate(depending upon the state) or no tint over the front windows(depending on state) you wouldn't be pulled over as much.

It's hilarious to hear people that say "I can't believe I got a ticket! My car is so much cooler when I break the law!"

Just ridiculous.

uuuhhh..you a cop or wat?

whaap Mar 2, 2010 12:41 PM

Well Mikejet, I for one agree with you. If you're going to dance you have to pay the piper.

No, I'm someone who uses common sense.

If you do something that is against the law and get ticketed for it why complain? You did something wrong.

I don't blame cops for approaching some cars uneasy. If a car has tinted windows up front the cop can't see into the driver's side and could think that they are hiding a weapon and that will change the entire way the routine traffic stop would play out.

Interesting thread.

People need to vent, let them.

Yeah but it's similar to saying "My wife is filing for divorce! All I did was sleep with 2 other girls! What's her problem?"

thefit09 Mar 2, 2010 02:20 PM

I think it's more like saying, "My wife is filing for divorce! What the hell did I do?" Everyone knows what the problem is, and why it happened, but sometimes it's just better to let them figure that out on their own. Just my opinion.

Most of the times I see people complaining about a ticket they say "I was only going 10 miles over the speed limit" or "It's only because I didn't have my front license plate on."

They know EXACTLY why they got the ticket and want people to feel sorry for them because boo-hoo, they have to pay a fine because they broke the law.

MAN UP and pay it.

JJIN Mar 2, 2010 02:24 PM

dude I got pulled over for my cat-deleted fart can and red&blue led parking lights, forgot to mention my 5% tint all around.

I was going like 90 and the pig had the nerve to pull me over. He gave me a citation for everything. Even my 4inch dropped cut springs.

Stupid ass cops pull me over some dumb sh*t like speeding 25mph over the limit and I got cited for all my rice ass mods.

Is this good enough of complaining?

gimme Mar 3, 2010 07:57 PM

who says the ticket recipients wont pay their tickets? Are you assuming because they are upset that they got tickets that they wont pay them? I think one IS entitled to gripe a little even knowing that they were at fault for getting a ticket.

Case in point, last summer I got a ticket for doing 78? in a 55 on the Ortega. Did I gripe? yes I did. Did I accept the fact that I was guilty? You bet i did because I was the one with my foot on the throttle.

In all honesty, I think this thread is as silly as people the people who get tickets and don't think they are at fault.

But some do admit guilt...

It's just an opinion of mine. Which the internet, especially forums, are full of.

I'm just tired of posts constantly being created where people expect others to feel sorry for them when they know they deserved the ticket. Do these same people complain when they get berated at work for doing something wrong?

I have no problem with people who want to vent. If they want to scream about how they got nailed for doing something stupid, that's fine. When they want to spew venom and belittle someone else for their own mistakes that crosses an imaginary line with me.

In our society it is SOP to accept ZERO responsibility for your own actions.

That explains a lot about the current situation that the US economy is currently in.

Just don't read those threads. There're a lot of things on this site and others I think are stupid. I ignore them and will not waste my time reading them.
